Love Over Hate
Our biases can be dangerous, even deadly. To be a thriving community of diversity, we’re going to have to honestly expose and consider some of the attitudes we hold toward out-groups – those people or groups we compete against, oppose, can’t relate to, or feel contempt toward. Only as we begin to understand, empathize, and honestly share in the suffering of others, can we begin to acknowledge our own biases and move toward, instead of turning away from the groups we feel uncomfortable with. Let’s start the conversation around what it takes to build thriving, radically inclusive, communities, known by the way they love.
